Strength Factory x Ryobi 18V Cordless Pressure Washer

Nobody really likes cleaning muddy bikes, especially week in, week out when the weather sucks for what seems like forever. But….. we also know that clean bikes last longer, ride better and are more reliable.

That’s why I’ve partnered up with Ryobi Tools UK who recently sent me their awesome 18v cordless pressure washer to cover all of my bike cleaning duties. Here’s the deal…….

You finish the ride, you’re covered in filth. Instead of loading up and driving home to start the clean up, you get it done at the trailhead carpark. Bike clean, shoes blasted, maybe even your riding pants, helmet and jersey if it has been a particularly character building ride!

It all cleans easier as the mud hasn’t dried on. When you get home, the last thing you want is to start washing stuff down. Your legs are stiff, you are probably tired and maybe in clean dry clothes that you don’t want to get muddy……

You just want a hot shower and a hot brew (cup of tea – I am English after all).

Using the Ryobi to pressure wash your mountain bike couldn’t be easier. Simply charge the 18v battery (that also works with the full range of Ryobi tools) before you go and remember to bring a jerry can or water source. When you are finished, drop the hose into the jerry can, pull the trigger and off you go.

There is more than enough pressure (22 bar) to clean stubborn mud without the need for expensive, chemical bike wash products. But….. there is less pressure than a mains operated washer that will strip your bearings of any grease and leave your pride and joy squeaking and creaking like a rusty gate in the wind.

Looking at the weather forecast the Ryobi is going to be getting a lot of use in the coming days and weeks. I best pop it on charge.

Ryobi 18v Pressure Washer is available on Amazon and other online retailers as well as in quality hardware stores.
