This is my race run down Stage 3 from day 1 of racing at Minehead. It starts with a decent sprint into some awkward and slippery flat turns before picking up the pace and diving down the hill into the woods where it gets a bit steeper and more technical. It finishes with a fire road sprint and over the line.
This was my first race in a couple of years due to COVID and the birth of my son, just over a year ago. It was amazing to be back racing with all my friends and it was also my first race in the veterans category as I am 41 now. This run was good enough for 19th out of about 90 riders despite being a bit untidy and missing a couple of lines!
