How To Deal With Fear | MTB Tips

I am not the bravest rider out there by any means and am rarely the one to go and guinea pig a big new feature.
However, over the past few years my riding has progressed loads and I have hit the biggest jumps and features of my life with (touch wood) no big crashes or injuries.
This is partly luck, but also because I take a measured approach to my riding and the risks I take. I understand my emotions, ability and can usually make sound decisions on the day, including sometimes choosing to walk away and try again another day.
In this video I will show you how I approach new features and how I manage my fear and how I overcome it.
Let me know what works for you and which of these tips was useful for you.
